Khuzestan Steel Company and SARVOil and Gad Company signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the field of expanding new generation of catalyst in direct reduced iron (DRI)

The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the 5^th International Steelprice Conference at Esteghlal Hotel of Tehran on April 30

The CEO of Khuzestan Steel Company Mr. Muhammad Keshani said that national steel industry is witnessing indigenization of the direct reduced iron catalyst by the talented experts of SARV Co., adding that the achievement is the result of having a national approach, strong determination as well as strong support of Khuzestan Steel Company and its managers’ prudence in the past two decades.

He pointed to the beginning of the second chapter of bilateral cooperation, adding that the KSC and SARV Co. both underline joint cooperation for developing the technical knowhow for direct reduced iron.

He reiterated both companies will continue all-out cooperation to boost the current level of the technology.

Keshani noted that both companies try to test and screen the results of catalysts through mutual and constant cooperation
